Election of the management of the EOA (President Atko Viru, Vice-President Rein Haljand, Secretary General Paavo Kivine, Chairman of the Science Council Teet Seene, Science Secretary Ants Nurmekivi, members Anto Raukas, Jaan Jürgenstein)
12.11.1991 EOA is acknowledged by the International Olympic Committee (IOC)
1989-1992 Extensive scientific activities of the EOA: organisation of conferences, lectures and seminars about the science of sport for students featuring internationally renowned top scientists (P.D.Gollnick, B.Saltin, P.Rusko, J.Viitasalu, P.Vuolli, L.Kannas, O.Hänninen, P.Obring, T.Takala, E.Hultman, J.Daniel, K.Fasting, H.Adlercreutz)
2.11.1991 Meeting of the representatives of the Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian Olympic Academies
25.04.1992 First discussion analysing the preparation of Estonian Olympic athletes (this tradition has continues today)
1996 The first EOA acknowledged School Olympic Games on the initiative of A.Volver, a teacher at Patküla Basic School
14.-21.09.1998 EOC and EOA Olympic Education Seminar in Olympia
5.-12.09.1999 Students from Nõo Real Gymnasium are sent to the International P. de Coubertin Youth Forum in Much Wenlock in the United Kingdom
27.06.1999 The first EOA summer session (an annual tradition)
13.03.2000 1st EOA club night "Sport and Culture"
24.-29.09.2001 Joint EOC and EOA seminar "International Experience in the Modern Olympic Education: Museum, Training, Olympic Sport" in Lausanne
8.12.2001 The annual meeting of EOA elected Prof. Vahur Ööpik the new president, Merike Kulli the Vice-President and Kalle Voolaid the Secretary General
10.-14.09.2002 Joint seminar EOA and Finnish Olympic Academies "International Experience in Contemporary Olympic Education" in Olympia
9.2003 EOA Children's Club started its activities

26.05.2005 Meeting of Baltic Olympic Academies "Perspectives in Baltic Cooperation in Developing Olympic Education" in Tartu
3.12.2005 The annual meeting of the EOA elected Neinar Seli the new President, Merike Kull and Kalle Voolaid are continuously the Vice-President and the Secretary General
23.-26.08.2007 International Workshop "School Olympics" in the frame of the "Pestalozzi" programme of the European Council (Tallinn-Tartu-Jõgeveste)
